King Charles Posts Never-Before-Seen Portrait with Queen Consort Camilla Ahead of Coronation

There'e only one week left! It is officially 7 days until King Charles's, 74,official coronation ceremony, and the new monarch celebrated the countdown by posting anever-before-seen portraitwith Queen Consort Camilla, 75, to Instagram.

The photo was snapped byHugo Burnand, and it sees the king and queen consort standing in front of an ornate fireplace within Buckingham Palace. The captionreads: “One week to go! As Their Majesties’ Coronation draws closer, a new picture has been shared of The King and The Queen Consort in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace.”

In the previously-released pic, the pair are seen wearing the same outfits and posing in the exact same spot. However, this photo was taken from a closer angle, and King Charles is seen posing with his hand in his front breast pocket instead of behind his back.

The king and queen consort will becrowned jointly on May 6. The Coronation Service will take place at Westminster Abbey andbe conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

At the service, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will each havefour Pages of Honour. One of the king's pages will benone other than Prince George, which marks the first time that a future monarch has ever served in this role. The other three will be Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache. Meanwhile, the queen consort's pages will include her grandsons, Master Gus, Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles, as well as her great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot.
